At the Quiz Society, Campus Law Centre, we’re dedicated to fostering intellectual growth, enhancing critical thinking, and cultivating a competitive yet collaborative spirit among our fellow law students. Our society is founded on the belief that quizzing goes beyond mere competition; it’s a tool for expanding legal knowledge and pushing the boundaries of learning outside the traditional classroom setting.

Objectives and Scope –

Intellectual Stimulation: We believe that quizzing serves as a catalyst for intellectual stimulation. It challenges us to think critically, broadening our legal understanding while instilling a healthy sense of competition.
Enhancement of Legal Knowledge: Our platform offers a unique opportunity for students to delve deeper into various legal aspects. Through legal-themed quizzes, members can expand their understanding, which undoubtedly amplifies their academic performance.
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Quizzing demands quick thinking and problem-solving skills—essential qualities for law students and future lawyers. Regular quizzes provide a fun and engaging platform to hone these skills.
Teamwork and Collaboration: Collaboration is key in many legal careers. Our society organizes group quizzes that encourage teamwork, fostering camaraderie among law students and preparing them for professional collaboration.
Networking and Social Interaction: We believe in strengthening the bonds within our law school community. Joining our Quiz Society provides a unique opportunity to interact and network with peers who share a passion for quizzes.
Competitions and Representation: As a part of our society, members have the chance to represent Campus Law Centre in inter-university quiz competitions, elevating our institution’s profile and providing a broader platform for our students to showcase their skills.

Events

Orientation

The Quiz Society at CLC orchestrated an enlightening orientation event on November 30, 2023, at the Seminar Hall, Campus Law Centre. Enthusiastic attendees gathered to explore the world of quizzing, delving into its intricacies and fostering a vibrant community of knowledge seekers eager to embark on their quizzing journey.

2. Induction Quiz

The Quiz Society of Campus Law Centre proudly and successfully conducted the Members Induction Quiz for the batch of 2023-24 on 18^th December 2023 showcasing a turnout of 86 enthusiastic students. With a keen interest in legal trivia and other general knowledge aspects and an appetite for intellectual challenge, students flocked in large numbers, making the inaugural year’s induction quiz a resounding success. From case law conundrums and social media trends to historical events, participants showcased their quizzing prowess, igniting a spirited atmosphere of friendly competition. As we welcome the newest additions to our legal fraternity, we look forward to nurturing their passion for quizzing and fostering a vibrant academic community.

3. Quiz Premier League

The Quiz Premier League, hosted by The Quiz Society at CLC, is a thrilling annual event comprising multiple intra-quiz league sessions. Participants compete fiercely in each session, aiming to secure a position in the coveted top three spots in the League Standings by the year’s end. Those who excel are rewarded with prestigious awards and recognition.

a. League Session #1

The inaugural League Session #1 of the Quiz Premier League, held on January 10, 2024, at Seminar Hall, Campus Law Centre, witnessed the participation of 54 enthusiastic students. The event buzzed with excitement as competitors showcased their knowledge and strategic thinking, setting the stage for an exhilarating series ahead.

b. League Session II

League Session 2 of the Quiz Premier League unfolded on April 8, 2024, at Seminar Hall, Campus Law Centre, drawing 53 eager participants. The atmosphere crackled with intellectual energy as contestants engaged in a battle of wits, each vying for a coveted spot in the league standings. The event epitomized the spirit of competitive quizzing.

4. Collaboration with ILC (Integrated Law Course)

On the 13th of April 2024, the Quiz Society of CLC partnered with the Literary and Debate Society of ILC, DU, to organize an orientation session aimed at fostering the culture of quizzing. This event served as an introduction to the vibrant quizzing community in Delhi for students from ILC, followed by an engaging mini-quiz.
